3D printing solutions - Nanotechnology meets 3D printing

Nanotechnology meets 3D printing

In the rack, on the DIN rail or as a tailor-made special solution - parts from the 3D printer are also finding their way into nanotechnology. Especially in this industry, the proportion of one-off and special production is high and thus the production of 3D printed parts is economically justified.

We design and print components with our FFF/FDM printers in Poland. In particular for laboratories and test setups on FIB-SEM microscopes, we manufacture special solutions according to customer requirements.

Prototype housing from the FDM printer

During the development of new electronics, the testing phase is crucial. So that this is easily possible, it is worth having suitable prototype housings produced with an FDM printer. Commercially available housings unfortunately give little leeway here and the production of injection molded parts in the early development phase or for very small quantities is not an alternative from an economic point of view.

We at rs-nano.pl design and manufacture suitable housings thanks to our 3D printers. We are happy to advise you and discuss your 3D project in an online meeting.

Rapid prototyping thanks to 3D printing

Not only electronic housings can be produced quickly and inexpensively with a 3D printer, the rapid prototyping of other parts can also be significantly accelerated thanks to this technology. Sometimes it can only take a few hours from the idea to the finished solution.

In nanotechnology, thanks to 3D printing, holders for special sensors or power supplies can be quickly produced that would otherwise take a lot of time to produce. Depending on the plastic used, special material properties should also be taken into account.
